Dedicated to Ralph Abraham (July 4, 1936 – September 19, 2024)
This song was originally composed to accompany a slideshow for my friend Ralph Abraham’s memorial, which took place in May 2025 in Santa Cruz, CA. I later wished to expand upon the theme of “Cave Dweller Visions” into a longer piece of music. Composed from April 2025 through May 2026.
The theme of the music was inspired by stories told by Ralph about his encounters with Neem Karoli Baba, cave meditation and various other metaphysical and mysterious themes that transpired in the Himalayan foothills of North India in the early 1970s. During extended cave meditation near sadhus in the hills about Nainital, India, Ralph’s unique mind and being traversed dimensionality and mapped geometric relationships that bridged dimensions together. Thus, this song is a multidimensional track, situated in cave where the experiencer traverses oceanic and bliss filled spaces.
